can i make Beer battered fish from fish thats been smoked?
i got some fish with the intention of making fish and chips, i wanted to make beer batter and fry it. but i notice just now as im cutting it up that the fish has been smoked. has anyone ever heard of making fried fish from fish thats been smoked?
Yep, but I would do it hot for about 1 minute only…just enough to cook the batter. I’ve had smoked salmon this way before. It’s not bad, but the fish does get very firm from the cooking.
